Jubbal & Cars is looking for a Social Media Assistant who is a car enthusiast and understands how to translate long-form driving content into high-quality short-form media. This is a part-time role starting at approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, with the expectation that it can grow into a full-time role over time.
You will be responsible for repurposing our long-form YouTube content into short-form vertical videos for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. These repurposed vertical videos, or RVVs, must reflect the same level of quality, accuracy, and restraint as our long-form POV reviews.
You will work directly with Kevin Jubbal, the founder, and closely with the broader content team to ensure our short-form and social content remains aligned with the voice, standards, and values of the Jubbal & Cars brand. Strong attention to detail, excellent written English, and genuine familiarity with enthusiast cars are required for this role.
In addition to video repurposing, this role includes light photo editing. Kevin photographs every car he reviews, and you will be responsible for lightly editing selected images and posting them to Instagram in a way that is consistent with the channel’s aesthetic.
This role requires professional experience with social media. We are specifically looking for candidates with at least two years of hands-on social media experience managing or contributing to brand or creator accounts.
Repurpose long-form YouTube videos into short-form vertical content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
Create RVVs by selecting strong moments, trimming for pacing, and adding clean captions and text where appropriate.
Ensure all short-form content accurately reflects the driving experience and maintains brand consistency.
Edit automotive photos for Instagram posts, including basic color, exposure, and cropping adjustments.
Schedule and publish posts across supported social platforms as directed.
Organize and manage content assets to support an efficient workflow.
Collaborate with the content team to refine short-form strategy and execution over time.
