This is the gear I use to create content for Jubbal & Cars, including my camera equipment, audio setup, accessories, and tools for filming cars on the street, in the garage, and at the track. I’ll keep this page updated as my setup evolves.

New primary camera. 1" sensor makes it incredible in low light. Wind noise better than alternatives, and sensor size + GP-log2 allows for the best dynamic range in any action cam.
Secondary camera primary used for pedal cam (great in low light), but also sometimes night or sunset POV drives. Colors and exposure in bright day aren't as good as GoPro.
Main audio recorder, records in stereo (not mono), and is compact and fits on my belt loop or in my pocket. Also supports Zoom attachments for some track audio setups.
Backup for my main camera. For track, the audio here is better than alternatives (wind noise). Best colors and image quality for bright days.
Essential for audio on track (can't do binaural ear mics with helmet). Also helpful when having a conversation with another passenger to hear both clearly. Also use this on license plate to capture exhaust on certain videos.
I've had to experiment with several SD cards that are reliable with recording in my GoPro and DJI Action at high bitrate, 4K, 60FPS. This one has been the most reliable thus far.
My default go-to binaural mics, and the chose option for many other POV car YouTubers I've spoken with. Make sure to use the included wind screens (I secure mine with zip tie).
The Roland CS-10EM are my primary, and these are my backup. They sometimes are more likely to clip, but I always carry these for when the Rolands eventually fail.
Camera for all B roll and thumbnail and Instagram photos. Full frame, and just as good as my A7SIII I use on my other YouTube channels, but this is significantly more compact. No overheating issues when used in this way (but cannot record more than 25 min non-stop at 4K60 without overheating)
Phenomenal lens. I had the Mk I 24-70mm GMaster, and sold that to upgrade to the Mk II because it's significantly smaller and more compact. Fast lens, incredible picture quality. Used it for years and don't plan on changing it.
The go-to most reliable hat clip for POV filming. I know at least 3 other prominent YouTubers that also use this. Cheap, reliable, easy to use.
Learned the hard way to avoid 3rd party cheap batteries. I use 3 GoPro chargers and use the official batteries. No point saving $15 to risk losing power mid-shoot. 3x multi-charger to never forget charging all the batteries
